Telling the story of the return to American greatness.

In this issue
International trade is heating up, and some are starting to run for the bunkers in fear of a trade war. We’re not so sure about that. We talk about that in this issue, along with more presidential actions, commentary from those watching him, and our own take on the news of the day.

A Trade War with Canada?
For generations, Canada has been more than just a neighbor to America—it has been a trusted ally, a friend, and a key economic partner. Our two nations have shared victories, faced down global threats together, and built the most successful trade relationship in the world.
But let’s be clear: just because we’re friends doesn’t mean we won’t stand up for ourselves when the time comes.
Now, thanks to President Trump’s commitment to putting America First, the balance of trade is being reassessed.
Tariffs, like those recently imposed on Canadian and Mexican goods, are just one part of a broader strategy to strengthen American industry, protect American jobs, and reinforce American economic independence.
Some critics in the media, like those at CNN, are quick to label this as a ‘trade war,’ but let’s call it what it really is—smart, tough negotiation.
Canada cannot match America’s economic might, and frankly, the Canadian people don’t want to engage in a prolonged trade battle with us. They know their best bet is a strong, fair partnership with the United States. The question is: will their leaders recognize that too?
Make no mistake—America is not backing down. We will not tolerate unfair trade deals, supply chain manipulation, or policies that disadvantage our workforce.
But we also recognize that Canada remains one of our most important allies. That’s why we must approach this situation with both strength and wisdom.
President Trump understands the art of the deal. He knows when to push hard and when to extend a hand. If Canadians want to play fair, they’ll find no better partner than the United States.
But if their leaders choose to challenge our resolve, they’ll quickly realize that America doesn’t blink.
We stand by our principles. We stand by our workers. And yes, we stand by our allies—when they stand by us. Canada has a choice to make, and for the sake of both our nations, we hope they choose wisely.
