Making DOGE Available to the Cabinet

Editorial Team

The mainstream media has been in full-blown panic mode ever since the President invited Elon Musk to sit in on his first Cabinet meeting. The talking heads are breathless, their headlines scream of ‘dangerous precedent’ and ‘billionaire influence,’ and the usual suspects are wringing their hands about whether this somehow makes Musk a shadow member of the Cabinet.

Give me a break.

This isn’t about giving Elon Musk power. It’s about giving the Cabinet access to Musk. There’s a difference—a big one. But as usual, the media can’t see past their own bias and obsession with control.

Bringing DOGE to the Cabinet—Not the Other Way Around

Let’s get something straight: Elon Musk isn’t some political power player looking to manipulate Washington like a typical Beltway insider. He’s a force of nature, a builder, a doer—exactly the kind of mind you want in the room when the mission is to move fast and break through bureaucratic deadlock.

This isn’t about Musk getting power; it’s about making sure the most powerful nation on earth has access to the sharpest, most future-focused ideas available.

We need momentum. We need innovation. We need to put the brakes on bloated, outdated government thinking and introduce the kind of aggressive, no-nonsense efficiency that has made Musk the dominant player in multiple industries.

This President understands that, and that’s why Musk got a seat at the table.

Speed is the Strategy

The President ran on an agenda of action, not talk. He promised to cut through red tape, to restore American greatness, and to put an end to the bureaucratic slow-walking that has held this country back for decades. Who better to help accelerate that agenda than the man who made space travel private, electric cars mainstream, and communication instantaneous?

This is a play for speed, for agility. The Cabinet isn’t there to drag their feet and offer excuses. They’re there to execute. And Musk is the ultimate disruptor, a guy who looks at an obstacle and immediately figures out how to plow through it. That’s the mentality this administration is embracing.

The Media Can’t Stand It—Which Means It’s Working

You can always tell when the President is over the target—the media starts shrieking like they’ve been set on fire. And right now, they’re losing their minds over Musk’s presence because they don’t understand the game being played.

They assume this is about influence, about backroom deals, about power structures they’re used to covering. But this isn’t politics as usual. This is leadership by results. The old model—where bloated agencies and unelected bureaucrats dictate the pace of progress—is dead. We’re not slowing down to fit their outdated expectations. We’re speeding up to set new ones.

Bottom Line: A Boss Move

The President isn’t handing power to Musk—he’s tapping into the most effective operator in the private sector to get the job done. That’s what winners do. That’s how America gets back to leading the world. And that’s why the media’s tantrum over all this is nothing but background noise.

Elon Musk in the room doesn’t make him part of the Cabinet. It makes the Cabinet part of something bigger. And that’s what terrifies the people who thrive on keeping things exactly the way they are.

Buckle up, folks. The speed of government just got an upgrade.
