The War for American Education
Washington’s elite are panicking again—and this time, it’s over something that actually matters: the future of the Department of Education.
President Trump said it loud and clear: we’re done funding failure. And he’s right. For too long, this bloated agency has soaked up billions of our hard-earned taxpayer dollars and delivered nothing but declining test scores, woke indoctrination, and crumbling discipline in our schools.
Let me ask you something: If your mechanic kept breaking your car every time you brought it in, would you keep writing him checks?
Of course not.
But that’s exactly what the Department of Education has become—a national money pit that keeps failing our kids, undermining our values, and bloating the federal bureaucracy.
Here’s the plain truth: education should be local. Your school board. Your teachers. Your kids. Not some overpaid Washington bureaucrat who’s never stepped foot in your hometown. That’s what our Founding Fathers believed. They didn’t draft a Constitution so some swamp-dwelling desk jockey could tell parents in Iowa or Texas how to raise their children.
Now Trump’s doing what real leaders do—he’s taking action. He’s directing his appointee, Linda McMahon, to wind the whole thing down. Smart move. But here's the kicker: only Congress can kill it for good. And that’s where the battle begins.
Will Republicans have the spine to follow through? Or will they cave to Democrats who cry foul every time someone threatens their precious federal funding schemes?
Let’s get one thing straight—money isn’t educating our kids. Parents are. Teachers are. Communities are. And when the federal government steps in, all it does is handcuff them with red tape and radical agendas.
You want your kids learning math and science again instead of being lectured on gender theory in third grade? Then it’s time to put pressure on your representatives and tell them: Pull the plug. Defund the Department. Return power to the states. Let teachers teach—and let parents raise their children.
Because for the hardworking Americans out there, this isn’t about politics. It’s about the future. And we don’t have another generation to waste.
Defending our freedom means protecting our children.
Let’s get to work.

My mom, who spent her career as a special education teacher and was wonderful at it, tried to get all emotional with me about Trump cutting the DOE and what it would do to students with special needs. I had to drop some knowledge on her.
Facts are important.
